The Procedure

Two anteromedial and anterolateral portals. Cartilage lesions treated with microfracture or AMIC (collagen membrane to stimulate regeneration). Bone spurs removed with arthroscopic burr. Ligament reconstruction (Brostrom-Gould) if chronic instability present.

Recovery & Return Home

Crutches for 2–4 weeks depending on procedure. Full weight bearing at 4–6 weeks. Return to sport at 3–6 months. A physiotherapy programme is provided for home.
